My Nutrition
My Nutrition is an online tool that can help you make smart, healthy choices in the Diner. Use it to:
- See how your food choices measure up nutritionally
- Screen the Diner offerings for allergens
Meal Planning
- Choose a station from the list on the left.
- Select a day and meal.
- Check the menu item(s) of your choice.
- Use the drop-down box to select the number of portions, then click "Add Items."
- As you add menu items to your meal, they will appear on the right side of the page under "MyMeal."
- To get the total nutritional content of your selected meal, click "Meal Nutrition."
- You can also view nutrition information by hovering over an item with your mouse.
- If you would like to plan ahead, menus for up to fourteen days in the future are available.
Allergy Screening
The most common allergens are listed on the right side of each meal planning page. Check all of the allergens you would like to avoid. Any menu items containing those allergens will be deleted from your menu. For example, if you checked the allergen box for eggs, only menu items without eggs will appear on your list of menu choices.
Please Note: While you can use My Nutrition to help you manage food allergies in the Diner, if you are prone to severe allergic reactions, we encourage you to consult the Chef or Dining Services Manager for specific ingredient questions. They will be happy to assist you.
How to use My Nutrition for Vegetarian or Vegan Preferences:
You may choose to sort menu items by preferences for either of these diets. By checking the preference for either a vegetarian or vegan diet, only foods that meet the criteria for your specific diet will be added to your selections. Special icons are used to denote menu items that qualify as vegetarian or vegan. Look for these icons to quickly select foods that suit your personal diet choice.
